The mission of Greyhounds Only is to place retired racing and at-risk greyhounds into responsible, loving homes, to educate the public about the greyhound breed, to provide access to high-quality medical care and to collaborate with others who share our common goals.

Greyhounds Only is a not-for-profit greyhound rescue and adoption group based in Northeastern Illinois. We take in retired racing greyhounds from all over the country and find them good homes. We serve Chicago and the Chicagoland area, the Northeastern corner of Illinois, and the Southeastern corner of Wisconsin.

Greyhounds Only is a not-for-profit organization. It is through the generosity of our donors and volunteers that we are able to rescue as many retired racing greyhounds as possible. 100% of each donation goes into fulfilling our mission whether it's providing medical care and space in our kennels or by supporting education and outreach to raise awareness about these wonderful dogs.
