Chicagoland Pet Show
We were back to Arlington Race Park for this year's Chicagoland Pet Expo! As usual, we had a blast - and raised some money for our kennel hounds! A lot of volunteers, many of whom were first time adopters, showed off to strut their hound's stuff! Click here to see more pictures! |
Kennel Day Open House
Starting in 2007, the kennel volunteers have begun to host a Kennel Day Open House. Usually filled with hounds romping and playing, not to mention people socializing and having a greyt time, the Open Houses also serve as a fundraiser to raise some much needed funds for our kennel hounds. Not to mention showing off a few kennel pups to previous adopters who might be looking for another four-legged friend to join their household! Click here to see more photos. |
MS Walk
The "Helping Hounds" of Greyhounds Only participated in the MS Walk for the third time in as many years. We had slightly fewer numbers, but probably the best weather we've had yet! Of course people kept saying, "here come the greyhounds", and we surprised some folks who didn't think that greyhounds could actually walk three miles! Click here to see more pictures. |

Dr. Karen Farnsworth Miller and Dr. Richard Miller have been generous enough for the past three years to throw a thank you party for the Volunteers of Greyhounds Only.
