OSU Greyhound Health & Wellness Program

The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine's Greyhound Health & Wellness Program offers membership opportunities for veterinarians and Greyhound/sighthound owners, adopters, trainers, and other individuals interested in these breeds. Memberships are used to: support health studies in Greyhounds and other sighthounds; continue to provide chemotherapy at no cost for retired racers; provide financial support to owners who cannot afford healthcare for their hounds if their dogs are evaluated/treated at Ohio State; organize the Ohio State annual Greyhound/Sighthound conference; and publish and disseminate current information on Greyhound health care.

GreytHealth is an archive of Dr. Suzanne Stack's most requested articles about Greyhound Health. These articles were originally published in newsletters of various Greyhound adoption groups, on the Greyhound-L internet subscriber list, and in veterinary publications.

Make a Donation

Greyhounds Only is a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization. It is through the generosity of our donors and volunteers that we are able to rescue as many retired racing greyhounds as possible. 100% of each donation goes into fulfilling our mission whether it's providing medical care and space in our kennels or by supporting education and outreach to raise awareness about these wonderful dogs.
