Greyhounds
Only is able, on occasion, to take in what we call a "Special
Needs Hound",
one that requires extraordinary expense due to injury or illness. Greyhounds
Only is committed to taking in as many special needs hounds as is fiscally
possible. Your generous donations
supporting these hounds defray many of
the costs, and allow us to help more Greyhounds in Need.
Please, hug your healthy hound/s and consider a donation in his/her name
to assist a less fortunate hound find it's way home!

Meet his new friends Tammy, Polar and
Kit!

I have another new friend that needs your help! Her name is Tammy.
Yep, she's the girl that was on the run for four and a half days
and was found Monday, December 1 curled up in a drainage pipe.
The wonderful folks of Greyhounds Only have taken on the responsibility
of her medical bills. She has a serious infection in her front
right leg and is in intensive care right now. As she gets better
she will go to a foster home to recover completely. To date, her
Vet costs are at $2,000.00 and rising! You never let me down. Tammy's
rescue was a miracle! Thank you to the dozens of folks that went
out to walk corn fields and forests for four straight days to save
Tammy's life! You're the best!!!!!!!

team found her.

Polar was
happy and healthy until a sudden viral illness struck him down.
He was rushed to Chicago Veterinary Emergency Services and Family
Pet Animal Hospital since Sunday, 11/23. Originally, we thought
we might lose Polar - but he is fighting for his life with everything
he's
got.
On November 26th, he was updated to fair condition - and looks
like he might turn the corner. His treatment is proving very costly,
and Polar needs your help now.

Kit is a
sweet 4 year old girl who was originally rescued from Florida.
She is a very sweet, friendly girl who suffers from Cushing's
disease.
